Small Dog Spring Social and Fundraiser (Rochester, NY)

Rochester, NY (PRWeb) March 28, 2007 -- The Rochester Small Dog Playgroup presents the 3rd Annual Small Dog Social. All Small Dogs are Welcome (approx. 25 pounds and under) to join us for contests and fun at White Brook Nature Park. (All dogs must be sociable with people and other dogs and also be current on vaccines.)

There will be a talent contest and a Spring Costume contest. So, if your dog has a special talent or a sharp spring outfit to show off-come join us and enter the contest. Prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place. There will also be door prizes and lots of social time for people and their furry friends. Great photo opportunities so, don't forget your cameras!

The Rochester Small Dog Playgroup was founded in March of 2005. There are currently over 200 members in this group. The Rochester Small Dog Playgroup meets monthly in various locations in the Rochester, NY area. The group's purpose is off-leash play and socialization for small breed dogs in a safe location. This organization is also involved in several fund raising events each year. Last year the group raised over $2,500.00 for local animal rescue organizations.
